Hello, I’m Christina.
I’m a pianist, music director, and lifelong creative, and my path has been wonderfully eclectic, which is where My Eclectic Way gets its name.
I’ve been a professional accompanist since I was 13. I earned my degree in piano performance, and over the years I’ve accompanied at schools from kindergarten to college, and I’ve played in churches and congregations of many faiths. For more than 30 years I’ve served as music director at a local synagogue. Along the way I’ve taught piano to elementary school children and spent two years in clinical pastoral education as a hospital chaplain. I also make jewelry, read constantly (my house holds thirteen bookcases), and live in West Texas.
I discovered adult coloring books while caring for my mother, who had suffered a stroke. Coloring became something the two of us could share, even when she was bedridden. That experience is the heart of Mandala Dreams, a series of coloring books for nurses, musicians, psychologists, and teachers, each pairing intricate mandalas with affirmations written for the people who give so much through their work.
